B GIRLS - WHO SAYS GIRLS CAN’T ROCK
In this rock documentary we follow Cynthia Ross the founding member of the 1970's punk band The B- Girls as she tries to claim her place in punk history. An all girls, Toronto band that moved to New York to befriend and play with Blondie, The Ramones, Deadboys and the Clash. Cynthia watched her friends success but after a few years of loss and struggles the B Girls split apart. Recovered and retired she's now 65 and has moved back to New York and has a tour of Japan booked with her reformed B Girls. We watch as Cynthia relives her past while trying to change her future.
